Ben Carson, a Johns Hopkins University neurosurgeon and humanitarian, is catching it for daring to believe in divine creation. It’s not enough that he’s an accomplished surgeon, scholar and Presidential Medal of Freedom honoree. He holds and advocates the wrong ideas, according to the Secular Science Magisterium.  So speaking at Emory University’s graduation is a serious violation of the secular science dogma:  no alternatives to evolution may be mentioned or discussed in the marketplace of ideas protected by academic freedom.

Indeed.
